STUDENT PRIORITIES

Scholarships are the greatest area of need for TUC students. Your gift can make an immediate impact on their lives. Many of our students are unable to work, therefore, scholarship opportunities are singularly important and valuable to earning their degrees. In some cases, scholarships can be a deciding factor in realizing their professional dreams. Please explore the many ways below that your gift can make a difference.

The Osteopathic Scholarship

A one-year, non-renewable award presented by the Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine for outstanding potential for leadership in Osteopathic medicine.

College of Education and Health Sciences Scholarships

The College of Education and Health Sciences (CEHS) incorporates our Graduate School of Education (GSOE), School of Nursing, Public Health Program, and our Joint MSPAS/MPH Program, which encompasses Physician Assistant and Public Health studies. The one-year, non-renewable awards are made by the Dean of the College Of Education and Healths Sciences to students with outstanding potential in each of the fields.

College of Pharmacy Scholarships

Pharmacy Scholarships are awarded by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy to current students and to highly sought after students who may otherwise be reluctant to take on more student debt for a pharmacy education and help attract them to the Touro pharmacy program and a Pharmacy career. These funds will help support student development through participation in conferences, seminars, and continued growth of the residency program. The College is also awards Diversity Scholarships to deserving students from underserved communities.

The Greg Strebel Memorial Scholarship

The Greg Strebel Memorial Scholarship is a one-year, non-renewable award presented in honor of TUC leader, educator, and healer, Greg Strebel, who passed away in 2016. This scholarship is presented to a student who best shows outstanding commitment and passion for the art of osteopathy.

Diversity Scholarship

Scholarships are awarded annually by each of our programs to full-time TUC students from underserved communities who best demonstrate leadership skills, a commitment to community involvement, and who are in good academic standing. Your financial support to this fund will help students who might otherwise be unable to complete a top-quality education, while addressing the exisiting disparities in our professions.

Alumni Association Scholarship

Annual scholarships are awarded by the Alumni Association Board each year to full time TUC students who best demonstrate leadership skills, a commitment to community involvement, and have good academic standing. Your financial support to this fund will help the Alumni Association make a greater impact.

Student Emergency Fund

The TUC Student Emergency Support Fund provides financial assistance to currently enrolled TUC students (Full or Part time) who are unable to meet immediate or essential expenses.

Named Scholarship

Individuals, alumni classes, family members, and colleagues can establish a scholarship with a one-time gift or a multi-year pledge totaling at least $25,000. This scholarship naming opportunity can be used to honor a personal hero or be named after you, your family, or a loved one.

Student Run Free Clinic

TUC is proud of our free health clinic organized and staffed by the students with onsite, direct supervision by a licensed clinician. Your donation to this clinic will help our students in their efforts to provide reliable and accessible care for those in need in the community. 100% of your donation supports the clinic and the work the students do for the community.
