Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine Virtual 5K for Fighting Back Partnership

Want to help support our Vallejo community? Grab your sneakers and hit a trail, sidewalk, or treadmill near you!

The Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) at Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUC-COM) is organizing a Virtual 5K to help raise funds for Fighting Back Partnership. This local, non-profit organization is committed to preventing and ending poverty and its effects in Vallejo and throughout Solano County. Their work in creating “the Beloved Community” serves to improve the quality of life among individuals with the most critical socioeconomic needs by providing assistance with housing, food, childcare, transportation, and health referrals.

How You Can Help: Sign up for our Virtual 5K! All proceeds will be donated to Fighting Back Partnership to support their mission.

Race Information:

During the week of the race, you will run a 5K (3.1 miles) wherever you desire! You can run with family and friends or go at it alone.

While not required, we strongly suggest tracking your time on a mobile app so you can share your successes with the Facebook group.

As Fighting Back Partnership is a local community hero, we hope you will become a hero during this run and dress up as your favorite super hero, however, a costume is not required.

If you want to be eligible for prizes, share to the Facebook group your 5K run time and your costume.

First, second, and third place finishers will receive a $20.00 gift card!

Top two costumes will receive a $20.00 gift card as well!!!

If you aren't interesting in tracking your time, we would love for you to share pictures and videos of you running during that week.
