Opening the Door: School of Nursing Students Receive Grant for High School Student Outreach

Becoming a clinical nurse leader is about more than just who you are in the hospital or clinic. It comes with how you impact the next generation of health care providers too. That is why Jacqueline Clavo-Hall, PhD, Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing, has strived to help get her students in the Master of Science in Nursing program into Vallejo high school classrooms.

The future met the present during the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) Open House on Thursday, February 1st. Coming from as far away as Chicago, 99 prospective students came to get to know TUC, speaking with white coated student doctors whom they were eager to join as colleagues.
