Touro University California (TUC) is a non-profit university, and therefore responsible for its funding. Tuition and fees provide much of the funding needed to educate our students, but the rest is made up of tax-deductible gifts given to us by the parents, grandparents, students, alumni, and other friends of TUC.
It is through your generous support that Touro University California can attract and retain talented students and faculty, fund groundbreaking research, and renovate our historic campus. You, the individuals who believe in our mission. You, who help our students’ with much needed scholarships. How Giving Matters to Our Community
TUC is committed to supporting the community in which we live and work. Your gift increase our ability to reach out to those in need around us. For example, our joint partnership with the Solano County Public Health District has served to bring high-quality, cost-effective care to Health and Social Services patients by placing specialized Touro medical staff and students into county clinics.
Our Student Run Free Clinic is a free clinic organized and staffed by students from Touro University California. A licensed clinician provides direct, on-site supervision. The SRFC was developed in order to foster a relationship between the city of Vallejo and Touro University by providing a valuable resource for low-income residents of Vallejo.
Touro University California's Mobile Diabetes Education Clinic (MOBEC) brings free diabetes screening and education to the people of Solano County. Entirely funded by donations and grant to Touro University California, through the use of this mobile education center we aim to break the barrier between healthcare providers and community members in the prevention of diabetes.

Touro University California is honored to be located at the site of the first permanent installation for the United States Navy on the West Coast. In the same buildings that taught and trained our service men and women we continue that tradition of providing a quality education by teaching our future educators and health care providers. Our buildings have seen over 150 years of change and with your help we will restore and continue to renovate these historical buildings, improving upon the quality of instruction in a modernized learning environment.
